Sadly due to the passing of my Step Mother In Law's dear mum (Lovely Lady she was too) The Step Mother In Law asked me to help her sort everything out. Naturally I was honoured to have been asked, however it was also to be called upon for expertise advise.
Anyways, so having sorted out the initial things like who she has to call and make the relevant appointments made as a result of, I suggested an idea about a venue for the wake afterwards.
Now having recently been invited to this particular place recently for an open day I was taken back the complete beauty of the place and what it's surrounding grounds lends itself so well to any any occasion. Even down to holding the actual funeral there too. How different would that be.
Hollybank House in Emsworth is amazing. Ian the proprietor was helpful and empathetic towards my Step Month In Law and her recent bereavement too.
I took Step Mother In law to visit and instantly she fell in love with the palace and though how wonderful it would be to hold her lovely mother's service there and could see the idea I was envisioning too.
Best get my planning head on then to make this a service to remember.
