Today I was able to demonstrate my Celebrant capabilities to a recently bereaved family, that had the added attribute of knowing the person myself from school.
What a cracking and fitting service (if I do say so myself) and loved by those attended.
Must admit its always nice when a family and congregation thank you on their way out and say what a lovely service and well delivered.
What was even more gratifying, was when the Funeral Directors who Id never met or done a service for and only spoken on the phone briefly and by email, told me how lovely and professional the service was as they thanked me on their way out too.
