Like the title says Wow Just Wow. Earlier this month i received an email inviting me to visit a local venue for their opening day to Celebrants and businesses in the area. This venue and it's surrounding garden areas, just lends itself to endless possibilities and usage for different requirements of a function.
You walk in through this massive big wooden front door to a big hallway, past a picturesque stairway, Ahead is the area where food was laid on a vast table, however to the right of me was a room that as I entered took me by complete surprise.
As I entered in to the room, there where chairs laid out and there in the doorway to the outside canopied veranda space was a coffin. Ian the owner, told me how they have done funeral services here before and the family stayed here all together afterwards and waved the coffin goodbye as the funeral team left and was just so nice as the family all wanted to remain here.
As bizarre as it sounded to have a funeral service away from a crematorium, it also seemed such a great novel thing, especially if someone wanted something different or your local crematorium is a bit drab (My immediate local one is lovely to be fair)
Ian then showed me the samples of foods his wife Roz produced as she used to work at Goodwood House. What stunning food and tasted homemade too.
I just hope I get the opportunity to do a service here, be it wedding. funeral or naming ceremony. I did leave them my details in case some one should enquire about a celebrant.
So if you are looking for anything different, then HollyBank House Emsworth, is well worth a visit and discuss your requirements with Ian & Roz.
Thanks for the invite.
